Counselling is a confidential, non-judgmental space where a client speaks one on one to a counsellor about an issue or difficulty they are experiencing. Counsellors are professionally qualified individuals, who are trained in listening and reflective skills that enable clients to explore and make sense of issues they are going through.
Each session last 50 mins and it is recommended that clients attend once a week for the duration of the therapy. The duration of therapy is somthing that is not set, but is based on each client's individual needs. This will be discussed and collaboratively agreed upon in the initial session.
With your health and safety, as well as our community in mind, I will be providing both over the phone and online support for all upcoming appointments. Now, more than ever, we need to take care of ourselves and those around us. My highest priority is to be a support to you as we navigate the effects of COVID-19 together and I am offering reduced rate counselling for any new clients during this time.
